Product Videos

Product films for launches, e-commerce and campaigns: demonstration, macro detail, packshots, and vertical versions for the feed and the store.

What a product film actually is

A product film answers two questions the text on a page cannot: what the object looks like in reality, and how it is used. Everything else — atmosphere, music, story — either supports that answer or gets in its way. Which is why the structure starts from functions, not from beautiful images: every shot exists to show one concrete thing the buyer wants to check before ordering.

We work with the product in hand before the shoot. The material, the reflections, the real size and the way it moves decide the light and the lenses — not the other way around.

What changes with the brief

A launch film is allowed to be atmospheric, because the audience doesn’t yet know what it is looking at. A product-page film is not: there the buyer is already on the point of deciding, and every second without information costs conversion. For e-commerce we shoot short, vertical, with the product in frame from the first frame.

Small products mean studio, macro and controlled light. Large products — and the ones that only make sense in context: furniture, equipment, spaces — mean filming on site, with people using them.

What you get at the end

The main film, the packshot on a clean background for the catalogue, the macro shots as separate material, and the vertical versions for the feed and the store. Where there is a range, we deliver a consistent set, so every product looks like part of the same shelf — not seven different shoots.

One constraint we state up front

The film will not hide a poorly prepared product from reality. If the finish, the packaging or the props aren’t ready, macro shows it more clearly than the naked eye. Preparing the product for the shoot is a real project stage, not a last-minute detail.
