Privacy Policy
Updated August 26, 2026
Note: this is the English version of our Romanian policy. In case of any difference between the two, the Romanian version prevails.
1. Who processes the data
The controller of the personal data collected through this site is:
- VIDEOMANIAX S.R.L.
- CUI 42940428
- Trade Registry J2020010197400
- Registered office: Splaiul Unirii 168, Sector 4, Bucharest, Romania
For any question about your personal data you can write to us at hello@videomaniax.ro, or reach us through the form on the /start page.
We have not designated a Data Protection Officer: our activity involves neither large-scale systematic monitoring of individuals nor large-scale processing of special categories of data — the situations where Art. 37 GDPR would require one. Requests about your data are handled directly by the company, at the address above.
2. What data we collect
This site collects personal data in a single place: the brief form on the /start page. The fields are:
- name
- company
- e-mail address
- phone number (optional)
- project details, in free text
We do not ask for special-category data and you do not need an account to use the site. What you write in the project details field is up to you — please do not include information there that you don’t want to send us.
The MANIAX Producer assistant neither asks for nor accepts contact details: the conversation with it stays about the project, and contact details are filled in separately, in the form, at the end.
Separately from the form, the site may use cookies and similar technologies — but only after your explicit consent. The details are in the Cookie Policy.
3. Why we process it
We use the data sent through the form for one purpose: to answer your request and to discuss the project you wrote to us about.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Where the request does not lead to a contract, keeping the correspondence rests on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in keeping a record of commercial conversations.
We do not use this data for profiling and we make no automated decisions producing legal effects on you.
4. How long we keep it
- Requests that do not become projects: 24 months from our last communication with you, after which we delete them.
- Requests that become projects: for the duration of the contract, plus the legal archiving periods that apply to contractual and financial documents.
You can ask for earlier deletion, under the terms of section 6.
5. Who else has access to it
The data is accessible to the VIDEOMANIAX S.R.L. team handling incoming requests.
The processors we actually use:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — site hosting, form processing, the e-mail notification and the MANIAX assistant (the models run inside Cloudflare’s infrastructure). Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
- Google Ireland Ltd. — only for traffic measurement, only if you accept cookies, and only if a measurement container is configured. As of this version none is configured, so nothing is sent to Google.
We do not use a CRM and we do not store requests in an external database: the notification arrives by e-mail, and the correspondence stays there.
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing purposes. We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law obliges us to.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- the right of access — to find out what data we hold about you
- the right to rectification — to have inaccurate data corrected
- the right to erasure — to have your data deleted
- the right to restriction of processing
- the right to data portability
- the right to object — to processing based on legitimate interest
You can exercise any of these rights by writing to us at hello@videomaniax.ro. We answer within the deadlines set by the GDPR.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP — dataprotection.ro.
7. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date below and publish the new version on this page.
